Generic simulation software is designed to solve a large variety of simulation problems. But for a given specific problem with a well defined range of input situations, targeted solvers give dramatic speed and accuracy improvement.
For projects which warrant it, we write solvers based on a vast
range of possible techniques — Monte-Carlo simulation, FEA,
pseudo-spectral methods, closed form or perturbative solvers and
many more. This enables solutions where none originally exist.
Achieving an order-of-magnitude performance improvement enables
