In this project, we built a generalized Monte-Carlo integration based light transport solver. The ray tracer can solve any problem involving light transport, geometric optics, media with indexes, mirrors, absorbers, etc. In comparison to industry-standard software, the simulation platform built by us has many extra features such as partially polarized light, photoluminescent material, Mie scattering, lenticular optics, and a programming interface.
