A simulation of the interaction of a car body with wind. Special attention has to be paid to the relative dynamics of car, road and tires as each interacts with the fluid (air).
Car aerodynamic simulations are used to design the car body so that drag and wind noise is reduced, and aerodynamic instability is prevented. These simulations help to reduce the product development time and the need for expensive wind tunnel experiments.
